LECTURE:
THE UGLINESS OF FACTS
Caring about the world too much;
Causes a longing urge of belongingness.
People dance around in their so called smokescreen,
As reasoning meets defeat against happiness.
Love, care, hatred, freedom are just expressions;
Giving misdirection to the foggy mind of mortals.
Confusions linger as life takes its turns,
Leaving behind a breathing thought at every corner.
A make shift home for these illusions is the heart,
As it is more burdened than the mind itself.
The river of absurdness sweeps it (heart) away,
As the eyes take care of the glut.
People who say they are experienced…
Are in a way more befuddled than anyone.
Leaving the world aside and our purpose in it,
We just exist for a climax but end up in a trough.
Adulthood is someway a misnomer

Adulthood is someway a misnomer,
Age carries the burden of happiness.
Mistakes are the sugary coated icing over desires,
Like the diving plunge into nothingness.
Revolving judgments always returns to the owner,
As the veracity meet its demise to hope.
The potent pushes of beliefs often grow us…
Into a person we abhor to be.
Negating the very presence of maturity,
Makes one closer to being emancipated.
As the chase itself excites us,
Till we win to end or start to die.
Anything but love is overrated,
As reckoning it does not suffice;
Levitating ones soul to happiness…
Make the chains more tensile.
Before we step onto this bemused world,
Let us just ask ourselves a question…
Do we really want to be one of them?
Or the door of possibilities still open!
